Benjamin Jackson is a senior executive with more than 35 years of leadership experience in clinical data services, clinical trial analytics, and AI-driven innovation for the life sciences industry. He has built and led global clinical data organizations, delivering high-quality, regulatory-compliant data solutions that accelerate clinical development and improve operational efficiency.
Throughout his career, Benjamin has partnered with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and CRO organizations to drive clinical data strategy, digital transformation, and advanced analytics initiatives. His expertise spans clinical data management, CDISC standards, global delivery models, AI-enabled data automation, and regulatory compliance. He is recognized for developing high-performing teams, implementing scalable operational models, and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance data quality and clinical trial outcomes.
Benjamin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Statistics from Temple University. He continues to advise organizations on the application of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to transform clinical research and clinical data operations.
Soumitra Chowdhury, MBA
Built end-to-end biometrics delivery across three continents and led a scaled independent CRO through private-equity exit.
Soumitra Chowdhury, MBA, is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Acrosian. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across the global biopharmaceutical and clinical research industries.
Soumitra co-founded one of the industry’s largest independent biometrics CROs and served as its Chief Operating Officer, building the firm’s global infrastructure and end-to-end delivery value chain from the ground up — with direct responsibility for global project management, data management, biometrics, medical writing, central monitoring, pharmacovigilance, and overall data operations.
Under his operational leadership, the firm scaled its delivery operations across three continents, generating sustained year-over-year double-digit revenue and EBITDA growth on a diversified global client base. He led the acquisition process that culminated in the firm’s exit to private equity, and subsequently served as Executive Vice President, Data and Analytics with the acquiring organization for two years.
Vladimir Mats, Ph.D.
Global teams in statistical programming, data management, and biostatistics — and Cliniphai, an AI platform for life-sciences localization at scale.
Vladimir Mats, Ph.D., is Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Acrosian. He brings over 25 years of experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organizations in clinical research and development, with a focus on NDA submissions and regulatory-compliant clinical trial data analysis.
Throughout his career, Vladimir has led high-performing global teams in statistical programming, data management, and biostatistics. He is also Co-Founder and CEO of Cliniphai, an AI Agent and Framework platform purpose-built for life sciences; Cliniphai’s first product, Athena, applies AI to localization and translation workflows for global clinical trials at scale.
Vladimir previously co-founded a global CRO specializing in data management, biostatistics, and statistical programming, and subsequently served as Senior Vice President with the acquiring organization. He holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
Aparna Chowdhury, CISA, CDPSE, MIT CSO

Aparna (Tanya) Chowdhury serves as Chief Audit & Compliance Officer of Acrosian, where she leads the firm’s enterprise audit, compliance, quality, and governance functions. She is responsible for establishing and overseeing the frameworks that ensure Acrosian’s progressively built AI-augmented workflows operate with the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, security, and operational integrity.
She brings more than 22 years of executive leadership experience in quality management, data privacy, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), internal audit, operational risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal controls across the clinical research, financial services, securities, and retirement services industries.
Prior to joining Acrosian, Aparna spent more than eight years with the founding team’s previous contract research organization (CRO), including over five years as Chief Audit & Compliance Officer, where she established and led the organization’s audit, compliance, quality, ESG, and contracts functions during a period of rapid growth through its successful acquisition. Following the transaction, she served as Senior Vice President, Quality & Compliance for the combined organization, providing enterprise-wide leadership for quality systems and regulatory compliance.
Her expertise includes ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 quality management systems, computer system validation (CSV), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance, vendor qualification and assessments, data privacy, contracts lifecycle management, and enterprise governance. These capabilities provide the foundation for implementing AI responsibly within regulated environments, ensuring innovation is supported by robust quality systems, regulatory oversight, and risk-based governance.
